30-day self-care​ challenge!

Happy Friday! I mentioned earlier this week that my job is participating in a 30-day self-care challenge. Today, I’m going to share the 30 days of activities, which begin on August 1st. I will write a short post each day in August to share about that day’s self-care activity. I’d love if y’all could join me in this journey and interact through the comments!

  1. Watch a Ted Talk and be inspired
  2. Drink at least 8 glasses of water throughout the day
  3. Add something new to your morning routine
  4. Clean up your social media feeds
  5. Stretch for 15 minutes (or more!)
  6. Do something creative
  7. Research an unfamiliar topic
  8. Cook a healthy meal
  9. Practice meditation
  10. De-clutter a room or workspace
  11. Practice yoga
  12. Identify a stressor in your life
  13. Watch an interesting documentary
  14. Groom yourself
  15. Make a gratitude list
  16. Clean out your email inbox
  17. Be vegan or vegetarian for a day
  18. Add something new to your evening routine
  19. Try something new
  20. Go for a walk
  21. Write down the name of someone you need to forgive
  22. Donate, sell, or throw away three things you don’t use
  23. Indulge in a luxury.
  24. Write a love letter to yourself
  25. Have a no social media day
  26. Drink at least three cups of herbal or green tea today
  27. Spend 5 minutes saying positive affirmations about yourself and others
  28. Do something that you’ve been putting off
  29. Try a new physical exercise
  30. Define some short-term goals

  1. I’m super late to the party on this one, but it’s a really good idea! I’ll have to bookmark this and try it myself sometime. November is a notoriously insane month for me at work, so maybe I should try it then, to help mitigate the stress a little.
